Illinois Pick 3

Illinois Pick 3 lets players win a top prize of $2,500 twice daily (draws at 12:40 PM and 9:22 PM), or multiple prizes worth even more using the optional Fireball add-on. To play, select three numbers from 0 to 9 along with a play type: a set of rules that determines how your numbers ought to match the winning numbers in order to win a prize. In Illinois Pick 3, the play types are Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Combo, and Pair. You can check the full definition for each play type on our How to Play page.

You're also given the choice to add the Fireball to your ticket. This is a fourth winning number drawn alongside the main three, which you can use to form new winning combinations. It doubles the cost of your ticket, but massively boosts your chances of winning a prize. On each ticket, you can wager from $1 to $5, and the only difference this makes is the value of the prizes - $5 prizes are 5X bigger than $1 prizes.
